Town Lake/ Lady Bird Lake
Just outside The Line’s front door, there are countless activities at Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake.
Walk, run, or bike the Trail (3, 4, 5, 7, and 11 mile loop options)
Barton Springs Pool
Barton Springs is an outdoor swimming pool in the heart of Austin. It is accessible from Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake. The temperature of the pool sits at 68 degrees year-round. A perfect refresh after a run!
Lions Municipal Golf Course
Lions Municipal Golf Course, also known as “Muny,” was the first public golf course in the city. The course is close to downtown and just a 10-minute drive from The Line. Reservations are taken at 7:00 am in person or by phone at (512) 978-MUNY (6869). Tee times for weekdays are taken seven days in advance; Saturday & Sunday times are taken on the Tuesday before the weekend.
The Greenbelt
The Greenbelt travels through Austin with multiple entrances throughout the city. It is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts that enjoy hiking, biking, rock-climbing, bouldering, and swimming.
Deep Eddy Pool
Deep Eddy is the oldest swimming pool in Texas. It is close to downtown and only about a 10-minute drive from The Line. The pool has a recreational area and an area for lap swimming. Similar to Barton Springs, the pool is filled with spring water causing the temperature to be chilly, but very refreshing. Check out Pool Burger next door for a burger or drink after your swim!
